Connecting through Ministries

It’s important to stay connected to the body of Christ and build strong, healthy relationships with other believers who share the same values. Whether you’re new in your Christian walk or you’ve been on this journey all your life, we want to connect with you! Check out our small-group ministries below and join us.

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT
If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:10 NLT

There’s something fresh, relevant and engaging at New Harvest Stockton and you don’t want to miss out -- Come to RELATE!

RELATE stands for:

  • Reaching

  • Encouraging

  • Learning

  • Achieving

  • Teaching

  • Excelling

RELATE home groups are a place where the love of Christ is experienced in a most personal way; through friendships, care and practical expressions of love and kindness. It’s a place where you can learn God’s Word in an intimate, encouraging, interactive, and casual environment. We start each session by catching up on the week. Then, we spend some time looking into God’s Word. Finally, we finish things off with a time of prayer and fellowship.

Fridays at 7:00pm. Come, hang out, fellowship, enjoy some snacks, and of course, God’s Word. Find location details on the calendar. See you there!

Men’s Discipleship Classes

One of the staples within our fellowship is our Men's Discipleship Classes. We join with men from our Northern California churches (Sacramento, Madera, Fresno, Salinas, Hollister, Modesto, Visalia, Hanford, and San Jose). Our goal is to equip the men of God with tools necessary to reach their potential in God's Kingdom, have healthy marriages, be excellent fathers, and in return, become mentors to other men.

Classes rotate between church locations.  Please see the calendar for upcoming class details.

Women Under Construction

Our women’s group, Women Under Construction, meets in a comfortable and close-knit setting about once a month. In these sessions, women have a safe place to relate with one another while opening up about life’s challenges and blessings, and meditate on God’s Word through our journey. Monthly blogs are also available to remind us that we are a work in progress, continually being shaped by God.

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ… Philippians 1:6 NKJV

See our Women Under Construction page for more details. Ages 18+ only. No children please.

We believe your children are the future and recognize how important it is to mentor and prepare them. Our goal in all youth activities is to introduce your children to Jesus and set Him as their foundation in life. We teach children to love God, love others and love themselves; respect authority; be kind, compassionate and forgiving; live pure and honor God with their lives; how to respond to every day situations; and so much more! To do this, we offer a variety of different ministries based on age.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

Nursery is offered for infants 3 months through age 4 during all regularly scheduled services. Check-in begins 10 minutes before service in our nursery center, located at the back of the church, and must be done by an adult. Activities vary but generally include worship songs, verse of the day, bible stories, free play, craft, and a snack.

God Planting Seeds

God Planting Seeds (GPS) children’s ministry is offered every Sunday for children ages 5-12. Check-in for GPS begins at 9:55am in the foyer. Activities vary but include song worship, verse of the month, interactive bible stories, games, and a snack. Our GPS teams not only focus on caring for your children and building their faith, but they also spend time showing children how to pray, discover and use gifts/talents, and how to serve in the church.

Boys ages 5-10 can join our Active8 class offered on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Check-in begins at 6:50pm at the back of the church and must be done by an adult. Mentors use fun and engaging techniques to teach real-life skills, values and characteristics that relate to the Word.

Girls in kindergarten to 7th grade can join our MPact classes available Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Check-in begins at 6:50pm at the back of the church and must be done by an adult. Mentors provide structured lessons to prepare girls to be missionettes with godly character.

Our youth coordinators prepare special activities and events for our teens. These activities help teens build strong connections with leaders and each other.

If you’re age 50 or up, we’ve got just the group for you - 50 PLUS! Join us as we serve the community by having the privilege to make weekly-in home visitations. The 50 PLUS ministry also gathers for fellowship and fun monthly.
