The word of God tells us that we, as Christians, should strive to develop the "Mind of God." This is why the word of God says in Philippians 2:5, "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus." (NIV) We know that our Lord's attitude was to constantly strive to do the will of His Father. His mission and goal was to WIN and influence as many people as possible for the Kingdom of God. The Apostle Paul was able to develop the same mindset and attitude of Christ. He said, in 1 Corinthians 9:19, "Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to WIN, as many as possible." (NIV) So, it is with the sense of urgency and conviction that we at New Harvest Church Stockton strive to develop the mind of Christ in as many people as we can WIN for the Kingdom of God.

New Harvest Christian Fellowship of Stockton is led by Senior Pastor Sergio Romo, whose life was radically changed when he gave his heart to Jesus at the age of 22. What began as a search to fill an emptiness in his life became a journey of purpose, calling, and lifelong ministry.
Pastor Sergio has been connected with New Harvest Christian Fellowship of Norwalk for decades, serving under the leadership of Pastor Richard Salazar. In 1985, he was sent to Echo Park in downtown Los Angeles to pioneer a new church, where God blessed the ministry with tremendous growth and impact.
In 1989, Pastor Sergio returned to New Harvest Norwalk to serve as Assistant Pastor. A few years later, he stepped into the role of Executive Pastor, faithfully serving alongside Pastor Salazar for more than 30 years.
Today, Pastor Sergio and his wife Irene bring decades of pastoral experience, leadership, and compassion to New Harvest Christian Fellowship of Stockton. Their heart is to help people encounter God in a real and personal way—whether they are new believers discovering faith for the first time or longtime followers seeking a deeper relationship with Christ.
Pastor Sergio and Irene are passionate about building a church that reaches people with hope, love, and truth while creating a welcoming place where individuals and families can grow in their walk with God.
